Before you begin your new life as a ninja in this online social game you should read the following short list of rules. These will explain how to play the ninja game and tell you how to stay alive and how to rise to the top.

Quick Start Guide

When you first start your life as a ninja you should take a quick look at your profile and notice a few attributes. Energy points increase over time, the higher your level is the more you get. EP can be used to gain health. Attack points are the minimum and maximum damage you can do. Now you are ready to get started. Click the story tab and start your journey. You get XP for dueling. XP can be used to increase your attack power and levels. More places and enemies can be unlocked when you increase your level. You should also look at the clans and join the Arashikage Clan. They can answer any other questions you may have. You also get 100 Yen to start with so be sure the go to the Black Market to buy some cool weapons and iems.

Rules

• When ninjas are not fighting they are resting and gaining Energy Points (EP). You will gain same amount of energy points as your level. The higher your level the more EP you earn every 10 seconds. The faster you gain EP the more you can do. You can gain 100 times your level in EP at most.

• Energy Points can be used to heal yourself and to attack other ninjas. It takes you 5 Energy Points to heal a Health Point (HP).

• Health Points are your life. If you run out of HP you get defeated in battle and you loose all your EP.

• Experience Points represent your knowledge. These XP can be used to level up or to increase your attack and defense powers. Experience points are gained by dueling. You get XP for each hit and also when your ninja is defending.

• Attack Points represent your strength. When you attack an other ninja you will do at least your minimum damage and at most your maximum damage. Ninjas fight back so watch your HP so you don't die during duel.

• Defense Points represent your ninjas ability to fight back when attacked. Your ninja will deal at least your minimum damage and at most your maximum damage. Other ninjas will be less likely to attack you if you have high Defense Points

• Story mode is where your life as a ninja begins. You will learn how to fight, grow your skills, and uncover your ninjas story. You will gain experience for fighting enemies which you can use to level up your ninja and advance your skills. As you level up, you unlock more missions and learn about your past and future. Play through the story mode and become a powerful ninja. When requesting missions, you might receive items after defeating enemies and you might battles you would not get by doing the unlocked missions only.

• During Dueling you gain XP. You gain your opponents level for each attack and you gain 30 times their level if you defeat them in battle. You gain even more XP for killing enemies in story mode. Your ninja also gains XP when defending. You can also use combos during battle. These are fast attacks stringed together but they will exhaust your ninja faster.

• If your ninja gets to be over level 5 you can no longer attack ninjas that are level one. It is not honorable to kill ninjas that are just beginning their ninja career and pose such little threat to you. That would be like a texas holdem pro pouncing on a player who has just began to learn how to play poker, so we try to discourage it.

• If you get defeated in battle you have lost all your Health Points. You will have to spend a good amount of XP to gather your strength and be able to duel again. You can do missions to get the needed XP or you can use built up XP.

• To upgrade your stats just go to your ninjas profile page and click the plus signs next to the particular stat you wish to upgrade.

• Clans are very important to your success. Clans are groups of ninjas that share a common belief. You can be part of multiple clans and you can find lots of them to join on the clan tab. There will be ninjas that will help you with your progress and give you advice. You can create your own clan once your ninja gets above level 20.

• Members of your clan can still attack you. This is possible for several reasons. Sometimes people just want to have a friendly brawl, or you have a mole on your clan working for an other clan, or it is just a classic case of back stabbing. If you find one of the last two cases, you should kick them off your clan and tell the other members about it so you can team up on the villain.
