So many clans
We have a good number of clans now so I decided things were getting a little out of hand when trying to find a specific one to join. I added a new search box that is similar to the way the ninja search works and it also has a few options for sorting. Go forth and search!
Look at all the shiny new armor
I know ... it is pretty unbelievable ... but it finally happened. I added armor, and a whole bunch of it too! Thanks to the Gear and Items clan for the input! Join that clan and participate in the discussion if you want to see some additional armor. Now I really have to work on the black market, I want to organize the items better and add the ability to enter how many you want to buy of an item.
Also ... I'm going to knock on wood and say that our server have been up and running for almost a month now without any down time or significant speed issues! Now I just got to figure out how to pay for all this :) hint hint!
Sort them clans good
The clans are now sorted by the amount of members they have ... (Fallen Shadow should be happy about his, the SRT has grown a lot but please remove all the slashes from your clan description) ... since member request counts can get pretty high ... and we are starting to get busy so I want to reduce server strain as much as possible ... the sorting is only updated hourly so the order might be off at times for a little while.
Bring on the garrison
Wow, it has already been over a week since we added land and influence points so it is time to start enforcing the time limit. If you really want to hold on to that piece of land you will have to establish permanent presence ... influence points will drop off after a week. I also added a small fix ... a few of you explorers will no longer be able to venture into territories you haven't unlocked yet.
But I want to throw all my rocks at once
I have added a use all button to all items. You will now be able to use all your throwing weapons at once but you will no longer be able to use them while hiding. It would be too easy to just buy 1000 rocks and use them all at once to kill someone from hiding so now you will have to at least come out. Attacks are still not recorded with throwing weapons so it is still considered a sneak attack. One other small change is that you have to have some health before paying off your penalty. I think this will probably change into you having to have at least x times your level worth of health to prevent kill leap frogging on a high level ninja.
No more morphing weapons
I fixed the weapons problem we were having. There should be no more loosing of precious items and armor turning into weapons. I think this was the last bug with the new weapons but please let me know if you find anything else. Unfortunately some of you might have lost your special weapon for your donation so please let me know and I'll replace it for you.
A sure way to get banned
Are you interested in getting your ninja reset to level 1 or just want to get banned? All you have to do is message the admin claiming your stats have been dropped some insane number just like good old Killer Ninja did. The admin might fall for it once (ahhh stupid admin) but he will probably check the records later ... wasting a few hours that would have gone towards new features ... and not be very happy. But it is all good now ... except the development time wasted.
Just leave me alone
Hello Ninja! ... I am sorry to say this but I have been getting more and more complaints about excessive swearing, name calling, and other type of harassment. As a result, we now have an ignore link on everyone profile. If you do not wish to receive any more messages from a ninja, just go to their profile and click the Ignore link. You will see a confirmation message. If you change your mind, you can click the link again and allow messages. I hope this will make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
Bring on the guards
You will notice that there are more territories ... this will continue on until the entire map of Japan is sectioned out and I will add Okinawa also. The rule of having to be in the same place to fight will go live soon also ... this will force powerful clans to patrol their territories but smaller clans will have a better fighting chance of taking at least some of the territories back. There will also be some sort of reward for the control but not sure what yet. Probably some more yen for missions. Having to be in the same place will also give some people a better chance of not getting noticed so private duels will be easier to arrange and do without being interrupted y someone.
But my clan is just a forum
If you have a clan that is not part of the power hungry death machines you can opt out of having your members gain influence for the clan. Just go to your clans edit screen and turn off the gain influence option. This will help ninjas participate in forums and discussions without having conflicts in clan loyalty.
